Formatting requirements for International Conference on Optimization of Upstream Oil and Gas Contracts

Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers in Microsoft Word 2010. Papers are expected not to exceed 8000 words. Please use Times New Roman 10 point font throughout the paper. The text should be left and right justified with margin of 2 cm from top and 3 cm from the bottom.

Papers submitted should include the following elements:

1.  Title:

Full paper title in English should be centered at the main page (12pt size bold).

2.  Abstract:

The abstract in English (about 150 – 200 words) should be informative, concisely stating the subject and the problem discussed in the paper, objectives, hypothesis, methodology and conclusions contained in the paper.

3.  Key words:

Key words are provided immediately after the abstract (maximum of 5 keywords).

4.  Author names and affiliations:

The authors' names and institutional affiliation (full name, academic rank, author / s’ telephone number, institution or university name and e-mail) are double-spaced from and centered below the title.

5.  Introduction / problem description

6.  The main body of the text

The text provides sufficient details about the investigation, data analyses, content and the views of the authors and researchers. Further explanations can be given in a footnote.

7.  Conclusion

8.  References

Please cite references in the text and ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list. The reference list would be arranged in alphabetical order and written in the following format:

Book: Surname, Name. (Year of publication), book name in italics, Volume, translation / edition, place of publication, publisher

 Paper: Surname, name of the author. (Release Date) “Title within quotation marks” journal name in italics, year, number, pages

Web references: author's name and heading of the site need to be stated. The full URL should be given and the date when the reference was last accessed.

  •  Secretariat of the Conference is excused of accepting papers that do not follow the aforementioned instruction either in paper’s form, the structure and the content.
